VETERAN MENTORS
Through these one-on-one relationships, veterans share their leadership, life experience, and unique skillsets while making a lasting difference in a child’s life. The program offers a renewed sense of purpose, connection, and community, allowing veterans to give back in a deeply personal way while helping guide the next generation with the same values of courage, resilience, and service they carried in uniform.
GOLD STAR FAMILIES
For Gold Star children and their families, Valor Adventures offers support, encouragement, and meaningful connection through trusted veteran mentors who understand the weight of service and sacrifice. These one-on-one adventures provide children with a positive role model while building confidence, communication skills, and resilience through hands-on experiences.
What is Valor Adventures?
Valor Adventures is our program that pairs veterans one-on-one as mentors to children of our nation’s fallen military heroes, referred to as Gold Star Children. Together, they participate in specially designed mission-based adventures that develop their creativity, communication, and develop problem-solving skills—while giving kids the chance to simply be kids for the day.
Mentorship in Motion.
Each adventure is based around different hands-on skillsets that allow our veteran mentors to truly give back to this community. While their children are participating in adventures with their veteran mentors, surviving spouses have the opportunity to connect with other families who share similar experiences, creating a supportive network built on understanding, encouragement, and shared strength.

Details
This exhilarating Father’s Day took place at Skull Canyon, where we pushed our teams to the max with 3 intense levels of high ropes course and zipline races down the mountainside. Our veterans and Gold Star families showcased extreme bravery and resilience while helping each other combat heights, obstacles, and a lot of sweltering weather!

Details
Our 13th Valor Adventures was a test of the wills, as our Gold Star kids and veteran mentors took on an adventure with a paleolithic twist! Armed with glow in the dark Gel Blasters, our teams took on T-Rexes, Raptors, and security forces to save the day. Details
Every Father’s Day weekend, we host one of our most important adventures of the year. For the last 7 years, we have spent the day before Father’s Day with our Gold Star Families. This year, we brought the competition with 12 heart-racing, competitive, nearly-impossible field games to complete! The teams brought the heat this year with wild competitions and huge summer stakes and reputations on the line.

Our Valor Sponsorship covers nearly an entire adventure. You are personally ensuring each child and mentor receive customized adventure gear, supplies, catering materials, event supplies and location fees. This Sponsorship comes with a HUGE Impact.
